Two Rivers.
Legendary Fish.
The Forteau and Pinware rivers rank among the most accessible — and most rewarding — Atlantic salmon waters on the Labrador coast. Our guides have fished them for decades.
Forteau River Salmon
Fish right from our doorstep. The Forteau River carries runs of Atlantic salmon and sea-run speckled brook trout each season. Our guides know every pool and every run — and they love sharing them with first-timers and veterans alike.

Pinware River Expeditions

There’s More to
This Place Than Salmon
The Québec Lower North Shore and Southern Labrador are among the most spectacular — and most overlooked — destinations in all of Canada. World Heritage Sites, ancient icebergs, and wild ocean, mostly to yourself.
Whale Watching & Wildlife Tours
Boat tours for whale watching, wildlife encounters, and coastal exploration can be arranged on request. Minke, humpback, and fin whales frequent the waters off the Labrador coast all summer.
Iceberg Encounters
Each spring and early summer, ancient icebergs drift past the coast on their journey south. Few experiences compare. Our boat tours take you close to these walls of 10,000-year-old Arctic ice.
Red Bay UNESCO World Heritage Site
Just down the road: the world’s best-preserved 16th-century Basque whaling station. A UNESCO World Heritage Site that most Canadians have never even heard of. Remarkable.
Point Amour Lighthouse
The tallest lighthouse in Atlantic Canada, and one of its most storied. Climb the tower and take in a sweeping view across the Strait of Belle Isle. History and scenery in equal measure.
Battle Harbour Historic Site
Step into a remarkably preserved early 20th-century Labrador outport — a national historic site where the buildings, the docks, and the silence all tell a story worth hearing.
Checatica Scallop Farm
A rare behind-the-scenes tour of an active scallop aquaculture operation in Checatica Bay — set between Old Fort Bay and Saint-Augustin, Québec. Unforgettable scenery included.
