The Forteau area and surrounding region is steeped in history, dating back to the first European settlers in the 18th century. This area is also rich in a wide variety of tourist destinations and historic sites. The opportunity to see icebergs, whale watching, flora and fauna make this area of Labrador one of the most diverse and breath taking regions in North America.

This location provides easy assess to all of the tourist attractions the Labrador Straits have to offer, including all amenities such as a regional airport in Blanc Sablon, and tertiary care hospital services within a 30 minute drive. Arrangements can be made for our guests to experience the many sites of this area during their stay.
